Shiatsu: Full Body Session
– Theory and Application

Taught by Judith August, LMT, MTI

Shiatsu is a comprehensive system of healing and health maintenance based on Oriental practices over 5,000 years old. While giving attention to muscles, nerves, circulation, and joint movement, Shiatsu also balances energy systems to promote health and wholeness in the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual dimensions. It is convenient and inexpensive to apply. The receiver may be fully clothed and the treatment administered in a seated position or lying down. A massage chair or table may be used or simply a mat on the floor. Shiatsu is easily integrated with other systems of body work.
