Scar Tissue Release Techniques

We all have clients that have had operations or other invasive procedures. Are they left with a functional scar or, more likely, is the scar bound down creating movement restrictions and pain? Are you, as their therapist, at a loss as to how to help them? If so, this is the class for you!

This class will address the anatomy of scar tissue--what it is and how it is formed. Students will be taught the basic principals of scar release for areas such as the abdomen, knees, elbows, chest and other areas of the body. Self-care techniques for clients to do at home will also be presented.

This class may be taken at 1/2 price if the student should want to repeat the class after first completion.

A manual is included for post-course referral.
